Modified Bavarian Formula
This tool uses the formula stipulated by the Kultusministerkonferenz (KMK) and adopted by TUM:
German Grade = 1 + 3 ร (Nmax โ Nd) / (Nmax โ Nmin)
Nmax = highest possible grade ย ยทย Nmin = lowest passing grade ย ยทย Nd = your achieved grade

Understanding German Grades

How do I convert letter grades?
If your university uses letter grades (A, B, Cโฆ), convert them to their numeric equivalent first. For example, in a typical US system: A = 4.0, B = 3.0, C = 2.0, D = 1.0. Then enter those numeric values above.
